For the first time in 2025, Zonta South Australia held a combined awards ceremony for the Young Women in Leadership Awards at Government House.

At the recent Premier’s Community Service Awards the Zonta Club of Adelaide had the privilege of winning both the Youth Award and the Premier’s Distinction Award. Our project was “Young Women in Leadership”.

Zonta Club of Adelaide Award winner (and former member), Phiala Shannahan , continues to succeed in her career and late last year was awarded the Recipient of the James McWha Rising Star Award 2022 from the University of Adelaide.

STOP PRESS: LATEST NEWS - On 6 March 2023, Dr Phiala Shanahan was ADDITIONALLYawarded 'Innovator of the Year' in the South Australia Woman of the Year Awards for her significant contributions to her field.
