Talks on Women Artists

Many women artists have been forgotten by history. Join in the resurgence of interest in their lives, their works and the times in which they lived. A series of talks will be held in August and September on Australian women artists, featuring Dorrit Black, Nora Heysen and Margaret Preston. All these women were born in Adelaide and traveled to Europe, early in the  twentieth century to further their art. On their return to home they had a profound influence Australian art.
